Darragh is from County Longford and joined the team at Westmanstown Golf Club in 2025, having previously spent five years at the renowned Portmarnock Golf Club. He began his PGA training while at Portmarnock, where he gained valuable experience supporting a busy membership and delivering high standards of coaching and service.
A graduate of Maynooth University with a degree in psychology, Darragh also represented the university on its elite golf team, competing in intervarsity events and developing a strong understanding of performance and player development. His academic background gives him a unique perspective on coaching, particularly in understanding the mental approach to the game.
Darragh’s playing background includes time at both Co. Longford Golf Club and Co. Sligo Golf Club, where he developed his game and passion for the sport. Now progressing through the PGA pathway, he brings energy, insight and a people-focused approach to his role. He is also TrackMan Level 1 and 2 certified, further enhancing his ability to provide data-driven coaching tailored to each golfer’s needs. Darragh is dedicated to helping players of all levels enhance their enjoyment and improve their game.
